VELUX GPL is an openable, dual action roof window designed for in-reach applications and developed for use in attics and lofts to maximise roof top views and ventilation.
Product features:
- Opens in two ways: the bottom handle allows for top-hung opening; while a short pull on the top control bar operates the filtered vent flap for passive ventilation even while the window is shut. A longer pull allows the sash to rotate 180° for ease of cleaning the outer pane from inside the room.
- White pre-painted pine sash and frame
- Complete with outer aluminium cappings and flashings for tile or corrugated iron roofs.
- Available in 5 sizes
- Laminated double glazing as standard
- Insect screen available as extra

The Pivoting Roof Windows are made of treated pinewood and pre-coated with clear acrylic lacquer. From the outside they are protected by maintenance free aluminium cappings.
Ventilate
In addition to opening, the Roof Windows have the added benefit of a Vent Flap. The Vent Flap allows you to have passive ventilation in your home all day long and can be left open while the roof window is closed.
Easy to use
Roof Windows are purpose built for manual, in-reach operation, perfectly suited for a converted attic or loft. Opening is a breeze - a simple pull of the top control bar opens the window completely in a matter of seconds.
