Lexan Thermoclear, a high-quality, low-maintenance glazing material that is built to last. Delivers high impact strengths, and excellent balance of low-weight, high-stiffness, and transparency. As with its polycarbonate sheets, Lexan Thermoclear protects 99.9% of UV radiation, as the proprietary surface treatment on both sides, enables outdoor weather resistance, and greater design flexibility.

Furthermore, Lexan Thermoclear is also suitable for use in bushfire prone zones BAL's 19 or below, as the materials within the components are flame-resistant, self-extinguishing, and develops minimal smoke. Compliant with regulation as per:

AS/NZS 1530.3: 2006 - simultaneous determination of ignability, flame propagation, heat release, and smoke release
AS/NZS 3837: 1998 - heat and smoke release rates using oxygen consumption calorimeter
AS 3959 - construction of buildings in bushfire-prone areas

Handling, Storage, and Cleaning

Most silicones are incompatible with polycarbonate - will damage sheet, restrict expansion and contraction, and void warranty.
Safety practices according to local statutory building regulations. For most application, above 3m safety mesh should be used, although some maybe used without, as per AS 1562.3: 2006.
